Be part of the
movement.
You don't need to skate. You need a Saturday, a pair of gloves, and a decent attitude. There's a place for you here.

Week 6
Five ways to spread empathy and love every day
You don't need a budget or a building. This is the practice the foundation teaches — take one and run with it.
- 01
Positive communication
Build an atmosphere of positive communication with the people around you. Give constructive feedback, celebrate each other's wins, and hold each other up through the hard stuff.
- 02
Encourage emotional expression
Make safe spaces for friends to say how they actually feel — a real conversation, a group activity, or just a daily check-in. Sharing your own vulnerability lets others do the same.
- 03
Acts of kindness
Random acts, big or small. Compliment a stranger, help a neighbor, give someone a good laugh. Any of it can turn a whole day around.
- 04
Role modeling
Model empathy publicly — on the team, at the park, in interviews, online. Showing compassion is how you teach it.
- 05
Practice self-compassion
Show yourself the same love. Taking care of your own well-being is what lets you show up for everybody else. Sometimes just being present is enough.
